How to find the peregrine view site on Cann Viaduct, Plymbridge woods

If you are LOCAL - Plymouth area

From Plymouth city centre you can come by:

  • CYCLE and join the Sustrans National Cycleway No 27 at B & Q car park at Marsh Mills. You will arrive at Cann Viaduct shortly after crossing the NT carpark at Plym Bridge.

  • PUBLIC TRANSPORT, catch a bus to Plympton and walk down the hill towards Plym Bridge (approx 1.5 miles) follow the signs along the cycleway to Cann Viaduct.

  • CAR and follow the signs from Plympton to Plym Bridge (1.5 miles0 and park in the NT carpark by Plym Bridge. Follow the signs along the cycleway to Cann Viaduct.

From Estover / Tavistock direction you can come by:

  • CAR or FOOT from the roundabout by Wrigleys' factory at Estover down Plymbridge Road to the small carpark at the end of Plym Bridge. Walk over the bridge (closed to vehicular traffic) and follow the signs along the cycleway to Cann Viaduct

If you are coming from a DISTANCE - Devon or further afield

You can come by :

  • CAR, which is the easiest means of transport - from A38 at Marsh Mills flyover (near "the sails" outside Sainsbury's supermarket) take the dual carriageway away from the city and head to Plympton. Follow the signs to NT Plym Bridge. Park in the car park and walk along the cycleway to Cann Viaduct.
  • TRAIN to Plymouth city centre and get a BUS to Plympton and walk down the hill towards Plym Bridge (approx 1.5 miles) then follow the signs along the cycleway to Cann Viaduct.
